I thought I’d share some pictures from my way home tonight. This is in the very center of Brussels before I grab the subway at Gare Centrale. You can see the lovely weather we had above the “Mont des Arts“, and below the detail of a bronze building door, a faraway view from the city hall and some remnants of the rain we’ve had all day long.
Next to the Mont des Arts and belonging to the same architectural ensemble is the Galerie Ravenstein built between 1954 and 1958. I love the industrial feeling of it, those great pendant lights and the glass incrusted ceiling. One of the entrances feature a fresco ceiling representing the winds and constellations. I only snapped one picture but can you guess how beautiful this is?
Have a lovely evening and a good start into the new week!
