It’s all in the Bulb

I was browsing the net for some modern lighting solutions and found such a great variety of light bulb pendant lights that I decided to write a post about it. Here is my selection:

Vesel series lighting by Samuel Wilkinson. It uses the Plumen light bulb also designed by Samuel Wilkinson and distributed by Hulger. Don’t you love the bright colored electric cords? More about bright colored cords at the end of this post.

I love the beautiful blown glass Lamp, simply called “Lamp No.2″ by Andrew Mitchell Design:

Mattias Ståhlbom designed the as simple as it gets E-27 for Muuto.

It simply showcases a beautiful bulb allowing as only adornment a splash of color.

Sometimes all you really need is an amazing light bulb like the Diamond light by Eric Therner and some fabulous textile colored electrical cable:

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Corinne, I have discovered Lee Broom in Milan and he has been doing a very beautiful collection of old meets new lighting in bulbs. Check out his page (lee broom.com) and if you are interested in seeing them “live”, have a look at the video I made at the blog. A real treasure this guy!
